I've been doing some Spring cleaning this past week and weekend. As many of you know I don't have a crafting room or a real place to store my fabric. So I decided it was time to change at least some of that. Here are the before pictures of my poor closet and the previous storage spot for my fabric - the top of Abby's crate.
I saw this post at Smashed Peas and Carrots for mini fabric bolts. Here is her picture of her mini bolts storage. So I thought what a great way to store my fabric. So here is my after picture:
And a close up.
I absolutely hate being unorganized so it makes me feel a lot better to be more organized. Hopefully I will be getting a sewing room sometime in the next year in a half so I will be able to get some niffy closing bookshelves like SP&C has, but until than this will have to do.
I knew I had a small stash but now I feel like it's very small. My stash took one small shelf and SP&C's stash is three much larger shelves. When I get my sewing room I'll have more room to have a larger stash!
I saw that post on Smashed Peas and Carrots too - I love looking at your bolts!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea. I may have to try that. Look's like it makes more room for more fabric. hehehe.
